Our Accommodations.
The Outlier Inn features 12 unique accommodation options, available for individual nightly bookings with a two night minimum. There are 7 year-round, winterized accommodations with private indoor facilities and heat, and 5 seasonal accommodations with private outhouses and communal outdoor kitchens, showers (hot water!), and dining. While there are communal gathering spaces on the property, each accommodation has it’s own privacy and it’s own picnic table, charcoal grill and firepit. Guests are encouraged to spend time interacting with our animals and perusing our Barn Shop. There is a spring-fed, swimmable pond on the property as well as a communal sauna, accessible by all guests. There is also a Rails-to-Trails hiking trail accessible from the property which leads to a park with a lake and children’s playground and to the neighboring hamlet of Mountaindale.
Year-Round Accommodations.
The Main House is a beautiful four bedroom, two bathroom home which sits at the center of the Inn. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a Viking range, a dining room, living room, library and sun room. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and three bedrooms and one bathroom with a deep, soaking tub on the second floor, for a total of four queen-size beds and up to eight guests. One of the bedrooms has a murphy bed and, when raised, doubles as a yoga/meditation space. There is a large back deck with seating, dining and a gas grill. There are window A/C units in the summertime, central heating in the winter and a smart TV. Please note that the woodstove is not available to guests. Main House guests have access to a private firepit.
The Main House.
The Guest House is a year-round, two-family home located directly in front of our self-service Barn Shop. The entire home is available for rent or each unit is available separately. Each unit is completely separate with private entrances and living spaces.

Guest House 1 is the downstairs unit of a two-family home and has three bedrooms with a total of four queen-size beds for up to eight guests, an eat-in-kitchen, living room and 1.5 bathrooms. There is central heat for the winter, window A/C units for the summer and a smart TV. Guest House 1 has a private covered porch and there is a shared outdoor deck for both units 1 and 2. Each unit has a private picnic table and charcoal grill, and there is a communal firepit which is shared by both units.

Guest House 2 is the upstairs unit of a two-family home and has two bedrooms plus an open sleeping loft for a total of 3 queen-size beds and 2 full-size beds. It can accommodate a total of 10 guests. There is an eat-in-kitchen, living room and 1.5 bathrooms. There is central heat for the winter, window A/C units for the summer and a smart TV. There is a shared outdoor deck for both Guest House units and each unit has a private picnic table and charcoal grill. There is a communal firepit which is shared by both units.
Guest House Unit 2.
The Cottage is a cozy two bedroom, year-round listing with an eat-in kitchen, living room and bathroom. In addition to two full beds there are two queen sleeper sofas in the living room to accommodate up to 8 guests. There is central heat for the winter, window A/C units for the summer and a smart TV. Cottage guests have a private picnic table and charcoal grill along with access to a shared firepit.

The bungalow is a very cute open-plan, year-round listing with one bedroom and two sleeping lofts, a full kitchen and bathroom. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room for a total of 2 queen beds and 2 full beds, and a maximum capacity of 8 guests. There is central heat for the winter, window A/C units for the summer and a smart TV. Bungalow guests can enjoy a private deck with a dining table along with a picnic table and charcoal grill. The bungalow shares access to a communal outdoor firepit.

Tiny House 1 is a year-round rustic cabin made from locally hewn rough cut lumber. It has a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and a single day bed, accommodating up to 3 guests. There is a full kitchen and bathroom as well as a deck with an outdoor dining table. There is central heat for the winter, window A/C units for the summer and a smart TV. Tiny House 1 guests can also enjoy a private picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill.

Tiny House 2 is a bright and modern year-round home which features an open plan with a sleeping loft and queen size bed. There is a full kitchen and dining nook along with a full bathroom. There is central heat for the winter, central A/C for the summer and a smart TV. Tiny House 2 guests can enjoy a private picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill.

Seasonal Accommodations.
Tiny House 3 is a cozy and bright and built out of rough-hewn local pine and hemlock. It features a sleeping loft with a full-size bed as well as a single day bed, for a total of up to 3 guests. There is a writing nook and a closet. There are electrical outlets and Wifi. There are fans for the summer and an electric space heater for early spring and fall. Tiny House 3 guests have a private firepit, charcoal grill, hammock and outhouse. They have access to the communal outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water on demand, and covered outdoor dining area. They also have access to the communal sauna. Available mid-April to mid-November.

Tiny House 4 is a unique accommodation, built entirely out of recycled materials. It features a wall of antique windows which look out into the forest. Tiny House 4 has a sleeping loft with a full-size bed as well as a single day bed, for a total of up to 3 guests. There is a writing nook and a closet. There are electrical outlets and Wifi. There are fans for the summer and an electric space heater for early spring and fall. Tiny House 3 guests have a private firepit, charcoal grill, hammock and outhouse. They have access to the communal outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water on demand, and covered outdoor dining area. They also have access to the communal sauna. Available mid-April to mid-November.

The Large Dome is a magical 30 foot geodesic dome tucked into the woods with an open plan and big bay window which looks out over our spring-fed pond. There is one king size bed and a sofa. The dome can accommodate up to 15 guests, with additional guests bringing their own air mattresses, sleeping bags, and cots. It is a fun space for families and groups of friends who want a glamorous camping experience! There are privacy curtains, electrical outlets and colorful lights which turn the dome into a glowing bubble. There is Wifi and A/C for the summer and heat for the early spring and fall. Large Dome guests have a private picnic table and charcoal grill and have access to a communal firepit and hammocks. Dome guests have a private outhouse and access to the communal outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water, and covered outdoor dining area. They also have access to the communal cedar sauna. Available mid-April to mid-November.

The Small Dome is a beautiful 16 foot geodesic dome nestled into the forest on the far edge of the property. Set up as a living space with a queen size bed and sofa, the Small Dome can accommodate up to 3 people. There are privacy curtains, electrical outlets and colorful lights which turn the dome into a glowing bubble. There is Wifi and A/C for the summer and heat for the early spring and fall. Dome guests have a private clawfoot bathtub with hot water, and a private picnic table, charcoal grill, firepit and hammock. Small Dome guests have a private outhouse and access to the communal outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower with hot water, and covered outdoor dining area. They also have access to the communal cedar sauna. Available mid-April to mid-November.

The Trailer is a gorgeous, fully restored 35 foot Spartan Spartanette from 1953. It has an open plan with one full-size bed in the front and two twin beds in the back. There is a beautiful banquette dining area, kitchen and bathroom. Please note that only the refrigerator and sink function in the kitchen. To cook, Trailer guests have access to the communal outdoor kitchen. There is a private shower with hot water in the Trailer but the toilet does not function. Trailer guests have access to a private outhouse. Trailer guests also can enjoy a private picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill. There is electricity in the Trailer along with Wifi, fans for the summer and electric space heaters for the early spring and fall. They also have access to the communal cedar sauna. Available mid-April to mid-November.

The Glamping half of our property features three outdoor kitchens, two outdoor showers with hot water on demand, two clawfoot bathtubs, a fifty seat covered dining area, five outhouses, a wood-fired cedar hot tub, a cedar sauna, a swimmable pond and a 100 seat amphitheater.

Yoga Classes.
The Outlier Inn hosts weekly group classes in our geodesic dome or on our amphitheater deck. Classes are held on Sundays at noon from May to November and the cost is $22/student. We also offer private classes to guests with two great, local instructors.
Kate Fox is a 200 hour RYT with 9 years of experience and received her certification at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Woodbourne, NY. She inspires others to find their own unique way of curating a playful and patient connection body & mind through Yogic philosophy, postures, breathwork, meditation, and other movement based arts.
Sahiba Ahluwalia is an E-RYT 500hr+ certified instructor with 20 years of experience. Trained in Hatha, Ashtanga, Yoga Therapy, and Aerial Yoga from renowned centers in India, her classes are focused on correct technique and alignment.

Gerald (P.J.) Pulis is a lifelong local resident and Licensed Massage Therapist.
After graduating from the Hudson Valley School of Massage, he worked for numerous physical therapists, orthopedics, and chiropractors. Through these practitioners, he was able to acquire many different modalities to which he uses every day. He has established himself as one of the leading massage therapists in the region specializing in deep tissue, neck, and ailment focused massage. Not to mention massage to generate general rest and relaxation.

Joshua continues his required education for animal training to ascertain the most cutting-edge practices based on scientific research. He’s also a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through Pet Sitters International and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). Joshua specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis, the science-based methodology foundational to clicker training.
